Artist’s Context – Photography
In 2017 I was involved in an accident and suffered multiple injuries.
I found photography as a way of forgetting everything and letting go.
I prefer to photograph my surroundings rather than people
as I find I can lose myself in what’s happening around me.
After completing the ARRTS Program I realised you
don’t necessarily need a fancy camera to take a good photo.
All my photos are taken on my phone and touched up if needed.

Artist’s Context – Digital Photos: Canberra
These photos, taken from around the
Canberra region, show it’s a really pretty
area when you pause long enough to look at it.

Artist’s Context – Digital Photos: Vietnam
These photos were taken during a trip to Vietnam with my sister in early 2020.
I particularly like the different colours of the lights and lanterns.
I reckon this shows it’s a very vibrant culture, and that the people are just as vibrant.
