The Visual Arts workshop provides a flexible working environment within which participants can experiment with ideas and materials in two and three dimensional forms.
Conventional visual art media, video, photography and digital devices are available with on-demand supervision, one-on-one mentoring and assistance
aimed at developing or reinforcing skills.
The substantive goals are to provide the skills, motivation and confidence to support ongoing creative activity and involvement for participants,
including focused creative exercises, core skill sessions, group field trips, artist book production, commercially printed folios and free work periods.
While most artwork tends to be individual by nature, some group projects are also undertaken to consolidate team-building. The formal outcome of the Visual Arts workshop
is an exhibition with catalogue of visual art works completed within the scope of the Program, demonstrating practical accomplishment in a framework of real artistic practice.
Note: Artists are listed in the category of the creative stream undertaken. For this Gallery some have
submitted works from one or more other artistic endeavours they’ve engaged with on or following the program.
