Artist’s Context – Song: King’s Blues
I really loved playing the blues number that we created. A simple blues tune that
grew out of a lunch time jam session, that just grew in form (and instruments) on a daily basis.
It was never intended to be part of our final presentation, but we all loved doing it.
I look at the video now, with quite a critical eye; should have added more “colour” to those riffs there…
didn’t quite bend the string to hit the note I was aiming for… bloody hell, that sounded great!
That was only the second time that I had ever played an instrument in public, and I really enjoyed it.
