The Music and Rhythm program develops an environment where each person’s voyage of development in recognising personal challenges, embracing individual
and group rehearsal practices and, ultimately, deciding to perform onstage produces purpose, empathy and egalitarian values resulting in the growth of appreciably evident humanity.
The personal works selected are often indicative of a ‘power’ or ‘love’ statement they wish to express, whether to one person, their family, the wider world … or all.
Perhaps most importantly, participants leave knowing the journey has just started, and they are now individually equipped with a grab-bag of goodies to utilise if the black dog comes barking.
submitted works from one or more other artistic endeavours they’ve engaged with on or following the program.
